In 2010, Pete Longworth (photographer), Michael K. Chin (sound artist) & Christopher Baron (film maker) were commissioned by the NSW Premiere’s Office to exhibit, compose, produce and perform a new work entitled, 'Life on Top of Hyde Park' at Sydney’s Australia Day celebrations in Hyde Park (Jan. 26 2010).
'Another Time Another Pace' (from the project 'Life on Top of Hyde Park') has received recent accolades where it was screened at the Cannes Film Festival - Court Metrage Short Film Corner (FRA), made the Official Selection at the End of the Pier International Film Festival (UK) and won 2 Awards at the New York Independent Film Festival (USA) Best International Experimental Short Film, and Audience Choice Award for Best International Experimental Short Film.

We did a retrospective on our work at the Apple Sydney Store on 7th Oct. 2010 @ 5:30pm, discussing in-depth the processes that went into creating these cutting-edge films.

Pete Longworth’s iconic photographic collection “Life on Top of Hyde Park” is an engaging, lyrical parade of those exquisite, fleeting moments when nature, light and life merge to make magic. Yet captured though they are, these moments are and will remain full of life - the life that pulses through Sydney’s beating heart - and this is where the real artistry lies.
